Mandatory training for all employees who drive a County, or private, vehicle on County business!
This training program was developed to complement the County's overall accident prevention program. Employees whose duties include driving a County or private vehicle on County business shall be scheduled to attend within six months of hire date.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
- Increase their traffic awareness among drivers of County vehicles
- Receive information on reaction and braking distance
- Receive preventative strategies of accidents/injuries and property damage to reduce operational costs
- Learn how distractions affect our driving
- Have an increased awareness of the hazards we experience on the road every day
