Conducting Effective Hiring Interviews

COURSE OVERVIEW:  
This highly interactive one-day presentation builds on the Profession of Supervision course by diving deeper into the principles of effective leading through selecting the right/best people for the organization.  To be effective in our selection process means hiring the right/best people to fill the various positions that will drive your mission, goals, initiatives, etc.  With all things you must manage, control and plan, having the right people on your team is the key to going beyond being good to being great.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Recognize talent in people.
  • Consistently and effectively select and hire the best people to fill key roles in the department/organization.
  • Align talent with the right position to drive your organization's/department's vision, goals, and tasks.
  • Quickly draw out a candidate's skills, drives, and personal motivation.
  • Determine how an individual candidate's goals, motivation and aspirations align with your organization's culture and mission.
